Your trip
Transport for pets
Current regulations don’t allow the transport of animals in the cabin, with the sole exception of guide dogs with proper certification. Company staff has the authority to make passengers leave the vehicle if they violate this rule.
Guide dogs for the blind or otherwise disabled may travel at no additional cost in the central corridor of the passenger cabin, with the proper certification and valid health documentation of the dog. The dog must be leashed and muzzled, and always controlled by its owner.
Luggage
Your ticket gives you the right to free transport of up to 2 luggage items (suitcase, backpack or duffle bag) that do not exceed 30 kg in total. Any item packed in boxes or packages is considered merchandise and is therefore subject to a surcharge. The transport of scooters or bicycles is not considered luggage and will be subject to a surcharge. It’s prohibited to include glass containers, perishable food, frozen food, or toxic, unhealthy or dangerous substances in your luggage.
Small folding beach umbrellas and sunbeds aren’t considered extra luggage, nor are strollers as long as they travel with you on the bus.
Carry-on luggage includes those packages that, due to their dimensions, can be transported on the luggage racks on the bus. Carry-on luggage will be the sole responsibility of the passenger who is in charge of it during the entire journey and must arrange it in such a way that it does not cause any inconvenience or risk for the other passengers.
Bikes, sports equipment and large items
The space in the luggage compartment is limited, so if you plan to transport a bicycle or any other large luggage item, you must keep in mind the following instructions.
- There is a package limit per bus.
- If you decide to take a large luggage item and you already have a ticket, you will only be able to get the luggage ticket in person at our ticket offices. Info on 902.
- Transport of sports equipment and bulky luggage is subject to a special rate.
- In the case of a bicycle, it must be disassembled, take up as little space as possible (maximum 140 cm. long) and be packed with bubble wrap or similar to avoid damage to it and the rest of the luggage.

On-board bathroom (WC)
Service only available on the Bilman Bus fleet. The company reserves the right to make service enhancements (reinforcements) to vehicles subcontracted to other companies, without them necessarily having the same features.
All our vehicles have a bathroom. The bathroom can only be used when the vehicle is travelling on major roads or highways. During the rest of the journey, the passenger must remain seated with his/her seat belt fastened.
Unsupervised minors
Unsupervised minors under the age of 12 are not allowed on board. Unaccompanied children over the age of 12 do so under the responsibility of their parents or guardians as there is no auxiliary staff during the trip for their care.
Seat belts
A car seat will not work in a bus. Whatever its certification, you must keep in mind that it has not been designed or subjected to safety tests for bus seats. Some approved restraint systems for bus-specific use are currently available on the market.
Child restraint systems must be provided by those accompanying minors. Bilman Bus is not responsible for the use of damaged or unapproved devices.
If your child is three years of age or older and you don’t have a child restraint system, he/she will use the bus seat belts, adapting them to his/her size and weight if appropriate, for example, by using a booster.
If you don’t have a restraint and the seat belt does not adapt to the child, then the child may travel without restraint, but in no case may he/she occupy the front seats or those behind a staircase.
The seat belts on Bilman Bus buses are three-point and normally those on our reserve buses are 2-point.
Seat belt extenders
If you’re pregnant, you can buy or rent a seat belt extender at our ticket offices located at the stations.
